Celebrity Apprentice 2010

Episode 3 of the Celebrity Apprentice 2010 began with the two teams assigned to create an advertorial about Life Lock and Norton 360 Anti-Virus.  The teams were supposed to make a magazine style ad as well as an internet ad for Life Lock.  The women did an amazing job while the men fell short.

Michael Johnson was the project manager for RockSolid, the men's team.  From the beginning he had a clear plan in his head of how he wanted everything to go.  He totally dismissed Bret Michaels' ideas and was pretty rude to him throughout.  He put Bret in charge of graphic design and then basically made him change everything he came up with.  He also made a big mistake by selecting the chef to be the spokesperson for the ad and the centerpiece of the advertorial.  Most everyone agreed Bill Goldburg would have been a much better choice.  One of the biggest shocks of the show was when it was revealed that the Illinois Governor did not know how to use a computer and was painfully slow at typing.

After the men lost the boardroom was tense.  The likely candiates to go home were Michael Johnson, Bret Michaels, or the Illinois Governor.  However, in a weird twist Darryl Strawberry told Mr. Trump that he thought he should be fired because everyone on the team did a great job and he didn't want to see any of them go.  Strawberry also admitted he was very tired and wanted to leave.  This was shocking because he was supposed to be there playing for his charity about Autism.   In the end, Donald Trump honored his request and fired Strawberry.  Michael Johnson dodged the bullet and will return for another shot at it.  This makes two victories in a row for the women's team.   Let us know what you think about Strawberry's decision. I watched it on DVR tonight. Not sure why Michael Johnson and Sinbad before him have such a thing against Bret. His idea to use Goldberg made perfect sense. I think they are threatened by him and hope to eliminate him. As for Darryl he is a real putz if his leaving was really he was tired.

As a mother of a seven year old with autism, I found it disheartening to learn that he left because he was tired. What a quiter!
